Meet Kimani Maruge, 86, from Kenya.

A peasant farmer and veteran of Kenya’s 1950s anti-colonial Mau Mau revolt, he has the distinction of being the oldest primary school pupil on the planet according to the Guinness Book of World Records!

Update: “He was from Kenya and its so unfortunate that kimani maruge passed away in 2011 after suffering from cancer ..he had a dull send off ..,to me he was my hero, and was real RIP Maruge”
